Question Replacement for Chaos Storm

Hi!

I'm going for these builds, which I've seen thrown around in this forums before:

Credits to iamablackbeltman -> http://www.reddit.com/r/GuildWars/co...eroes_address/

But I'm not currently good enough to micro Chaos storm so I'm looking for a replacement... Signet of Weariness? Or what would you use?

Also, since I already have your attention. I haven't tested the Ne/Rit healer yet (have to buy all the skills and get Livia) Would a more regular "monk healer build" be as good? better?

thanks!

I run chaos on one of my mesmers, doesn't really need microing. If foes and clumped up enough for Panic, they're fine for Chaos Storm.

Haven't really noticed if Gwen has been casting it. I was asking since the wiki said that Heroes don't use the skill unless the creature is using a staff or wand.

all ur mo/me & Me/mo have the ability for a hard res.

@Olle, thats an affirmative for the res signets and for me I've just discover Eternal Aura seems too awesome to be true (capable of reviving even me!) Anything I'm missing there?

@Relyk Sounds good I'll try it.

Thanks!

Eternal Aura is a kind of a good skill, though i dont see it fitting in your team build. and yes, it res's you aswell, and i.e your party is 60'd,and you wipe, this skill will prevent you from having to leave the area.
15e
4sec
30 recharge, but worth it.

I'll try using them both then and see which one sticks. (BTW I'm not an assassin/Rit that's the creator's build, I'm a Dervish/Rit)

Get rid of the res signets, if you are worried at least put more hard resses in. One of the roj should take domination support, like a second copy of mistrust and cry of frustration.

The N/rt is by far my favorite healer. I find that monk healers run out of energy even when equipped with mesmer rupts, and the n/rt can also deal some support damage with Icy Veins or xinrae's.

However, if you don't want to spend the time to get Livia, you can use an emo bonder like http://www.gwpvx.com/Build:E/Mo_ER_Prot_Hero or an ST rit like http://www.gwpvx.com/Build:Rt/any_Soul_Twisting_Hero to provide your damage reduction. You would then switch your prot necro to rit heals. You would still need to get the skills, but you wouldn't have to get livia.

To me... your own build look odd. You have SoS but no boon of creation for e-management (it seems logical because you haven't specced in sp but look at it later ) also ( though you don't have melee so it's not so important ) you have SW on your necro with less points in channeling than you, which kind of ruins the SW's damage output (35 vs 41 or - if you are runed as should - 50 -53 per hit ).

Also you have have specced 12 for communing and none in spawning yet you have only pain and armor of unfeeling from communing. The damage output from pain isn't that great really even with painfull bond on ( which you never get on all foes anyway ) so....
And, imo, armor of unfeeling is not enough to justify lacking increased health and missing utility skills like boon of creation.

You have summon spirits on your bar ... at least with higher ranks it synenergies well with another communing spirit than pain: Shelter. with spamming summon spirit u can keep shelter up quite well, even without ST.

My rit bar looks like this:

SP 10+1
Communing 10+1
Channeling 11+4

boon of creation
spirit's gift
SoS
Vamprism
Blood Song ( optional can be swapped to splinter weapon, ancestor's rage etc )
Shelter
Union ( optional can swapped to rez or what ever )
Summon Spirits

Why I claim my bar is better ?

1) it pumps out decent damage ( and painfull bond can be put on hero to increase it )
2) it has nice area based healing and cond removal
3) it has decent prot + damage reduction
4 ) it has very well working e-management

While your build pumps out even more damage mine is far better synenergy with my team.

For pure e-management it is, but I use Boon of creation for both e-management and self-heal on my rit. My heroes use Spirit Siphon for e-management ( they can use my spirits ).

Go Dom on one of the Jesus Beams, Cry of Frustration and either mistrust/spiritual pain/guilt/unnatural sig. Get rid of spear of light(or whatever its called) on both of them, add heavens delight or divine healing to each bar. They are decent party wide heals.

I agree that chaos storm is useless on a hero if not micro'd. Guilt works wonders and cry of frustration(again) is awesome) Put those in for CS and Power Spike. Drop the prot and raise your inspiration put power drain. Go /rt for flesh of my flesh instead of res sig.

The illusion Mes can't do anything with e-management. Drop those last three skills for clumsiness and 2 energy skills. Spec into insp.

On the MB drop Putrid Bile for Spirit Rift.

Healer is fine, but I like FoMF more than death pact. Preference call.

Protter Should either be full on e/mo, st commun rit, or a minion master/prot.

I would go with E/mo, its the most mobile and you don't need to micro anything, it will owrk in more areas than the mm/prot.

E/mo should be, ether renewal - aura of resto - prot spirit - aegis - shield of absobtion - spirit bond - convert hexes
